The SoConValley website was created as a space to share thought-provoking commentary on why we need to appreciate our rich Canadian heritage and celebrate the values and principles that formed the cornerstone of our great confederation and dominion. Inherited through our British Commonwealth and embedded in the Magna Carta, these principles form our laws and values and are the basis of a system of governance that sets us apart from totalitarian, extremist and communist regimes.

Many of these values and principles are under attack as we move further into the 21st century. I want to use this site to share my thoughts on our society and invite colleagues of mine to do the same.

If you agree on holding fast to the values that made Canada great, I invite you to help create an environment where we are encouraged to be leaders and influencers in our community. We can achieve this goal by collaborating, in person and online to share our views, learn from experienced leaders and form strategies to influence our society’s policy makers.  Look to this website early in 2023 for more information on how you can get involved in reclaiming our society and preserving our heritage. And I hope you enjoy the blog articles that I’ll be posting on current issues.
